Once or twice a week, I resolve to do 2 things (1) Floss my teeth each night, and (2) Go to bed by 11:30pm. Invariably, I accomplish neither. I don't even make it 48 hours past the resolution.
This coming week I intent to do both, even if I only last a week. I'll see if I feel any better for it, and let you know if it's worth it (Dan - I know, I know, the teeth thing is worth it!) Since it's 11:42 right now, this will be a short post.

after flossing daily you never go back. it becomes as important as ear cleaning with Q tips.
I don't think I'll ever have an early bedtime again. With one it was hard to do it more than once or twice a week. With two...never again. I can't imagine with four. Sometimes even if they are both asleep before ten (hardly ever) I stay up because I'm so used to it and I just want a few minutes to myself before crashing into bed.
Liz, Rick's brother (and our dentist) Dan, tells me the same thing. If I floss nightly for 2 weeks, I'll love it and keep it up for life. It's just getting to the 2 weeks that's hard.
With four kids those are some lofty goals! What is it with flossing? Why is it so hard to get into the habit? But I'm taking up the Tania/Liz challenge and trying. So far two nights in a row.
Every night I think "I'm too tired to floss" but what is it really, less than 5 minutes? I think once I establish it as routine, I'll just do it. Wish me luck.
no no- mike is the master flosser it's like a mili-second- like it's a race. i tease him about it cos it's so with the fast clicking from one tooth to the next he goes into another room while I am sleeping.
he's like the hot dog eater. we should start up a coney island flossing contest.
