Spring has been bursting out all over my garden for the past week.

Of course, on the official first day of spring we woke up to thick snow falling, but even by the afternoon it had almost all melted and the flowers looked like they were recovering.

We did a little spring clean-up in the garden last Saturday, there's still a lot more to do.

But just seeing these crocuses popping up has made me so excited for the all the flowers yet to come, and the vegetables, and being outside a whole lot more!

That's the nice thing about spring snow--it's gone quickly. We had a gorgeous first day of spring. I even got a slight sunburn before I remembered to put sunscreen on.
I know we just barely left summer, but I'm really excited for spring too. Winter should always be over in a month. :)
Pretty flowers! I'm glad you can thaw out now and enjoy the outdoors more.
I'm happy for you but so sad for me. I hate heading into winter.
Spring is my favourite time of year and I love seeing all the bulbs beginning to flower. Unfortunately our daffodils are fighting a losing battle against today's strong March winds and lashing rain. It still feels like winter!
