Jane came down to the kitchen this morning. On her way over she passed by our patio doors and stopped and gasped.
"Mom, it's fall!" she exclaimed.
She's right. In the past two days these trees have gone from completely green to colorful and dropping their leaves.
I'm sad to see summer go but I think it is going to be really beautiful around here when the woods circling out house are ablaze in fall colors!

Yes, the trees are rapidly changing here too. I love the colours but feel sad that winter is just around the corner. (We don't count this year's "summer" - so few nice days, mostly a washout).
I'm sure it is gorgeous there in Autumn. Although I'm so glad I'm not heading into Fall. (Nice patio)
